The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra Concerto Competition is held each winter for students in Tarrant, Parker and Johnson counties. The winner receives a cash scholarship as well as the opportunity to perform with the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra. Click here for more information.

Contest open to Tarrant County schools and students.
Local students are all invited to be a part of the FWCO Carol Competition, held each winter. Simply create your own holiday song, and submit it to our panel of judges. If you win, you'll get the opportunity to perform your carol accompanied by the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra during the annual Teddy Bear Concert. Click here for more information.
Welcome to the home page of the
Fort Worth Civic Orchestra!
The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra is an all volunteer,
community orchestra located in Tarrant County, Texas.
Our goal is to provide the North Texas area with an afforable source of excellent symphonic music, while offering amateur musicians a place to showcase their talents.
The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra performs primarily at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas. Most of our concerts are free of charge, and many feature an interesting theme or subject, such as our annual Teddy Bear Concert.
